The Rod Binding course is a structured vocational training program approved by the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA).
This program equips learners with the technical skills and practical experience required to work as professional rod binders in the construction sector. Rod binding is an essential stage in reinforced concrete construction, ensuring the proper placement and securing of steel reinforcement bars (rebar) in accordance with engineering specifications.
The course duration is three months and is fully funded by the government, with no tuition fees. Learners are only required to pay a 200 BDT registration fee. Upon completion, participants will receive an official NSDA certificate recognized both nationally and internationally.
Course Objectives
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
Understand construction drawings, reinforcement layouts, and bar bending schedules.
Measure, cut, and bend steel reinforcement bars accurately.
Secure rebar in place using correct tying techniques.
Work in compliance with structural engineering standards and safety regulations.
Prepare for employment in local and overseas construction projects.
